We built CareNavigator CA with one principle: your sensitive information should never leave your device.
Your data stays in your browser
All information you enter — including disability status, income, immigration status, and household details — is stored exclusively in your browser's session storage. It is never transmitted to any server, database, or third party. When you close your browser tab, your data is automatically deleted.
No accounts or sign-ups
CareNavigator CA does not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or sign in. We do not collect any personally identifiable information.
No tracking or analytics
We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, Google Analytics, or any other user tracking technology. We do not build profiles of our users or share data with advertisers.
How the assessment works
When you complete the assessment, your answers are compared against program eligibility criteria entirely within your browser using JavaScript. No data is sent to any server. The eligibility results you see are generated locally on your device.
Open source & transparent
This site is a static website hosted on Cloudflare Pages. There is no backend server, no database, and no API. You can verify this by inspecting the network tab in your browser's developer tools — no data leaves your device.
Not a government service
CareNavigator CA is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any federal, state, or county government agency. The eligibility estimates provided are informational only and do not guarantee approval for any program. Always verify eligibility directly with the relevant agency.
